![]() Some interfaces are analog, such as IK Multimedia's iRig 2, and won't be able to work with iPhone 7 and all models after due to the lack of a headphone jack. When I create a track - it appears it is recognized as I see the multiple inputs 1/2, 3/4, etc. There are many different interfaces to choose from but most of them are for desktop use, especially those sophisticated ones with multiple in/out, so be sure to choose one that's compatible with iPad / iPhone.Love the helix units but feel their service was below par here and they are advertising iPad integration that I am certain does not work for everyone. I’m pretty apple product savvy, they clearly advertise the helix platform works with iPads, be careful as I know for a fact 2 different helix devices do not work with 2 completely different modern iPads. ![]() Line 6 service was weak here.they apologized and only suggested a swap while not answering what they thought the problem was, plus said they were continuing to research, lame. Apogee duet works with both lightning and usb c iPads tho. Ironically, apogee one does not work with the new iPad Pro 2018 and they have acknowledged both to me via a ticket I opened and in a link I was sent that the new usc c connection is a completely different connection from the old lightning and are working on a solution, but admit it currently does not work. HX Stomp (and floor) works perfectly with my MacBook Pro and iPhone 8 as an interface but not with either iPad. Pretty disappointed tbh.the reason I did not swap it out is I found out the exact same problem exists on both my iPads with my helix nning latest iOS with latest GarageBand while it works perfectly with my iPhone 8 with same iOS and GarageBand. They have no answer as to if this was a known issue and say they are researching it. I declined and they actually asked me to share forum links that I’ve come across of others having the same problem (which I did). Well, sorry for the long update here, L6 really offered me no other solution other than swap out for another Stomp that I am 100% sure won’t solve the problem. It works perfectly through my MacBook Pro BTW. I can't figure it out and won't be able to use it with my iPad until I do. No idea what I am doing wrong - any suggestions? I have 3 other Apogee devices (Jam, One for IOS and Duet for IOS) and all work connected the same way through Garageband IOS. My headphones are hooked up to my HX Stomp - but it makes no difference - hooked up to iPad as well - no sound, no waveform.I've tried setting my output both to line level or instrument - no difference. If I have other tracks - I can hear them - just not the one recorded through HX.If I record a track - there appears to be a flat line with no waveform and no sound.I see no input signal when I play my guitar hooked up through HX.When I create a track - it appears it is recognized as I see the multiple inputs 1/2, 3/4, etc.It is hooked up via the Camera Connection Kit (which is supposed to work and recommended in the manual).I'm sure there must be a setting I'm overlooking but. I'm having problems using the HX Stomp as a USB interface with Garageband IOS on iPad (although Line 6 says it should work into an iPad through a Camera Connection Kit. and have seen it acknowledged but no definitive solution. I've searched this quite a bit, here, at line 6 Forum etc.
